Okay, so I stumbled across this on the blog justsaygem.com and thought I’d have a go! Probably about time, anyway, so… here goes.
1. Do you have a middle name?
Yes! It’s Katherine. Katy Katherine Bennett.
Only joking, Katy isn’t my real name. My real name is Eleanor Katherine Bennett, but I wanted to go by Katy Bennett for writing purposes because it sounded friendlier to me, so that’s how I want to make myself known. (Plus, I’ve always thought my initials EKB were really weird. Like really weird.)
2. What was your favourite subject in school?
History – which is weird considering I always thought it would be English, but as far as GCSE and A Level English have gone, history was just more interesting than being forced to find a particular judgement about some random set of short stories. And let’s be real, learning about the Wars of the Roses was pretty much like a sitcom anyway with the amount of Richards and weird family relations.
3. What’s your favourite drink?
I’m not really sure. I don’t drink hot drinks. I like juice and squash, but not really any specifics.
4. What’s your favourite song at the moment?
Ooooh, a tough one. I think I’m gonna go for Cake By the Ocean by DNCE.
5. What would you name your children?
No clue. Not certain about the whole child thing if I’m perfectly honest. I just like naming book characters for now.
6. Do you participate in any sports?
Not any group sports, but I like running and working out on my own.
7. What’s your favourite book?
I can’t choose that! I have too many… I’ll give a shout out to We Were Liars by E. Lockhart, though.
8. What’s your favourite colour?
9. What’s your favourite animal?
Elephants. Please, people, stop hunting them illegally.
10. What’s your favourite perfume?
I don’t really wear perfume to be honest.
11. What’s your favourite holiday?
Um. Let’s go with Halloween.
12. Have you graduated from High School?
Yep! 12 GCSEs, 5 AS levels and 3 A Levels (awaiting results for those last 3 though).
13. Have you been out of the country?
I’m lucky enough to have been out of the country many times, and I hope to do so many more.
14. Do you speak any other languages?
Not fluently, though I did do GCSE French and learned basic Spanish for a year back in Year 8 (age 13). I want to become more fluent at French, though.
15. Do you have any siblings?
An older brother.
16. What’s your favourite store?
Clothes store? Definitely New Look, but mainly because I’ve always had trouble finding clothes that fit well, and all of New Look’s online models are exactly my size so it’s very convenient for online shopping.
17. What’s your favourite restaurant?
Can I go for favourite café instead? Because that’s Costa Coffee (for the cold drinks, not the hot ones!).
18. Do you like school?
Yes and no. I love learning and seeing people and the idea and all, but the lessons and frustration of having to deal with examiners really got to me. I just wanted to be able to choose what I learned really. Glad it’s over if I’m being honest.
19. Who are some of your favourite YouTubers?
Right now, I’ll go for Zoe Sugg, Joe Sugg, Tanya Burr, Cherry Wallis and the SacconeJolys.
20. What’s your favourite movie?
Any of the Harry Potter films.
21. What are some of your favourite TV shows?
I don’t often watch live TV anymore, but I do watch Netflix and some things on catch-up, so I love The Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars.
22. PC or Mac?
Never owned a Mac so PC. I have tried Macs out though, and didn’t really like it all that much.
23. What phone do you have?
Huawei Ascend G7. Go on, tell me you’ve heard of it 😉 (it’s actually brilliant though)
24. How tall are you?
I’m 5 foot 8 inches.
25. Any pets?
Nope! Never had any. I hope to have a tortoise one day. Or some form of reptile, though I’m not too keen on the idea of feeding them bugs. So probably a tortoise.
And that’s a wrap! Hope my answers weren’t too boring and you learned something more about me. I love reading these sorts of posts and finding out things about people because I’m generally just very nosy, so I hope you liked it too.
Here’s to a happy July!
